iLife ’11 comprises of a new and improved version of the iPhoto app, which includes full-screen view and the ability to share photos on Facebook and Flickr from within the app. iPhoto can also pull in photos directly from your Facebook and Flickr feeds, which will be within the interface. There’s also the new Places functionality which highlights geotagged photos on a map. The iLife ’11 represent a good value for money, most of the applications are now close to the best available. iLife 11 is a very effective app for importing and arranging photos.
iLife makes photo sharing very easy and fun, with the newly enhanced iMovie trailer feature, where you can turn bits of clips into a movie that the whole family can sit down and watch. Another exciting update is the GarageBand also makes it easier for Mac users who have little or no knowledge of musical training to learn how to play. iLife comes preinstalled with the new Mac computers.

多くのMacユーザーは「iLife ’11」は、とっくに期限切れになっていると思っています。iLifeは99ドルで昔からのMacユーザーによりエキサイティングな機能を届けます。新機能のひとつは進化したiMovieです。従来版と比較して大きな違いはありませんが、よりクリエイティブになりました。動画クリップから映画のようなムービーを作成し、音声編集機能では目当ての人がすぐ見つかって便利です。音量を簡単に調節できて、1クリックでサウンドエフェクトを追加できる新機能が追加され、編集機能がよくなりました。音楽制作ソフト「Garage Band」は改装され、「groove time」という機能が付きました。これは全ての楽器を基準楽器の時間に合わせるものです。つまり、ギターとドラムを１クリックで合わせられるということです。iPhotoもアップデートされました。Apertureに次ぐ写真編集ソフトウェアです。Apertureにできることはほとんど全てできます。
しかし、新しいiLifeではiDVDとiWebはアップデートされていません。このアップデート版が従来版より少し安いのはそのためかもしれません。インストールにさほど時間はかかりません。最新版へのアップデートに数時間を費やすというような心配は無用です。
